In this case, calibration is <strong>not always necessary<\/strong>. First, move the drone to a <strong>more open area<\/strong>, away from metal and electromagnetic sources, then recheck <strong>GPS<\/strong> and <strong>compass\/heading<\/strong> status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If calibration is required:<\/strong> On the controller, find <strong>Compass Calibrate<\/strong>. We recommend doing this with <strong>two people<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the on-screen and voice instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hold the drone <strong>level<\/strong>, then rotate it <strong>360\u00b0<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When prompted for vertical calibration, rotate the drone <strong>90\u00b0 onto its side<\/strong>, then rotate it <strong>360\u00b0<\/strong> again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue until you hear <strong>\u201cCalibration complete.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then place the drone down.
