EP03: Drone Assembly, Spray Bar & RTK Connection

Unfold the four arms in sequence. Make sure every latch locks firmly.

Unfold the propellers. Check the hubs—smooth rotation, no looseness.

If anything is loose, tighten it immediately.

Install the spray bar.

Rotate and lock the horizontal spray bar onto the belly mount.

The tether hose runs through the carbon-fiber bar—secure and protected.

Power-on sequence: Turn on the controller first. Then power on the drone. (Shut down in reverse order.)

Power on the controller: press and hold the power button, open the GCS app, and enter the ground station.

Make sure the controller battery is sufficient.

Insert the battery into the bay. Connect the AS150/XT90 power plug. The connector is fool-proofed for polarity—align it correctly. Push it fully in to avoid poor contact and mid-air power loss.

After powering on, the controller will connect automatically (factory paired).

On the controller screen, check battery level and low-battery warning thresholds:

  • Level 1 warning: 47V
  • Level 2 warning: 42V

In the app settings, check firmware and flight controller versions.

Update everything to the latest version.

Check compass status. If calibration is needed, do it in an open area away from metal interference.

After startup, wait 3–5 minutes until GPS satellites reach 12+ (GPS status turns green). Open RTK settings. Choose Network RTK (NTRIP) or connect a base station. Wait until RTK turns green (FIX). If it’s not FIX—do not take off.
