High-Rise Cleaning Drone Tutorials

This comprehensive tutorial series focuses on the EAUAV C80/C80P high-rise cleaning drone (capable of reaching heights up to 120 meters), guiding you step-by-step through setup, operation, and maintenance. From basic controls, software integration, and mission planning to advanced cleaning techniques, troubleshooting, and maximizing efficiency, we ensure safe, professional, and transformative outcomes for your high-altitude cleaning operations.

EP13: Battery Guide – Charging, Storage & Safety

The C80 comes with a 14S 46000mAh battery, delivering up to 45 minutes of runtime in typical cleaning operations (depending on load and conditions). During work, always watch the battery level. No overcharge. No over-discharge. Over-discharging can damage the cells, cause unstable voltage, and significantly shorten battery life.

1) The right on-site battery rhythm We recommend rotating 2–3 batteries on site:

  • one flying
  • one charging
  • one cooling / standby

After hot-weather operation, the battery may be warm—only charge after it cools below 45°C. For long-term storage (over 10 days), keep the battery at around 60%.

2) 3000W charger & power requirement The C80 uses a 3000W charger, and it requires a 16A outlet. It supports charging two C80 batteries at the same time.

3) Cable connection order (critical) Follow this exact order:

  1. Plug the battery’s black data cable into the Balance Port first.
  2. Then plug the main power cable into the Charge Port.

Once connected, the charger will auto-detect the battery and display:

  • battery percentage per channel
  • battery type
  • charging mode (Fast / Slow / Storage)
  • charging current
  • total battery capacity, and more

The charger has three buttons: Channel / Mode / Start.

  • Press Channel to switch the channel display
  • Press Mode to change the charging mode
  • Press and hold Start to begin charging

4) Which mode to use

  • Fast Charge: for high-tempo jobs—about 40 minutes per battery
  • Slow Charge: for daily indoor charging—about 1 hour per battery
  • Storage Charge: for long-term storage—keeps the battery around 60%

Remember: Battery health comes from good habits. Don’t drain it to the bottom—and don’t store it full for long periods.
